MPC -> Mbox2 Pro -> to Monitors - Setup help

Im having problems with hearing the MPC1000 out of my monitors, i have it hooked up but still no sound

MPC -2- Mbox2 Pro - Digital Out from MPC -2- Digital In on Mbox

Mbox2 PRO -2- Monitors - Mon Out from Mbox to Monitor Ins

Am i doing something wrong here?

When i play samples from my Mac it interacts with the Mbox and i can hear out of the monitors.

When i put headphones in the Mbox i still cannot here the MPC.

Any suggestions?

have you tried turning up the monitor knob on the front panel?

yeah i can hear the monitors when i play music off my Mac but when i use the MPC i hear nothing

yep but still nothing, is there any settings on the MPC that i would need to change or is there other cables i need to connect

sorry, i missed that you are using the s/pdif. you need to change the mbox to clock from the s/pdif port. i don 't have an mbox so i can't tell you exactly, but you'll need to go into it's settings and change it to clock from an external source.

hey, yeah i got it working after all
