After loading JJ OS getting insufficient "memory message"

The 1000 feels tighter after installing JJ OS! but I am gettin an Insuff. Memory msg when I try to chop or slice a sample.

From the EXTRACT screen:
[F2] convert to SLICED Smples
[F3] convert to PATCHED phrase

After pressing DO IT for either function I get the " insuf. mem." code.

My Flash card is a 512MB SCANDISK?

Can any body touch on this?

Your flash card is not memory. Your flash card is for saving. Memory=RAM, if you want more, you need to upgrade your RAM, or delete any unused samples from loaded into RAM.

is the RAM internal memory? cause i get insuff. memory code after loading only one sample
