hey yall, ive been havin some trouble manually choppin my samples, i might not be doin it right so heres what im doin now..
i select a part of a sample that i want 1 pad to play, then i extract it... i keep the default name which is SampleNamePart1,2,3, etc.
then i go back to the sample... i make the end point from part1 be the begining point of part2 and then find where i want the end point to be
repeate the process...
but then during like the 8-9th chop, the chop doesnt extract properly. what happens is that when i extract the 8-9th chop it just shows up on the original sample, but the whole sample is still there, its just that the mpc plays from the start point to the end point that i designated.
and when i go into the program mode to make my program, i cant assign these chops to the pads.
this prolly doesnt make sense so ill give an example...
when i extract the first 7 chops, i can scroll thru the items on the MPC and it will say SampleName part1 starts:0 end:10000, sampleName2 start:0 end:20000, and you can see the wavelength for ONLY the part that you extracted
then for the 8th chop it shows the full sample with the chop that i want in the middle of the whole thing, and i can see the wavelength for the whole sample
prolly still dont understand but help me?
