im juss now starting to learn the mpc.. made like 3 wack beats...

you can get the jj os
its easier to navigate and they are more features. As for the beats just keep practising

The free version 3.08 is definitely good.... much better than the Akai OS.
It fixes the bugs Akai never fixed (directory errors, etc.) and you also get a few new features like Grid Edit.

Download the free version 3.08 as soon as you can and you'll still be able to learn the MPC1000 without getting overwhelmed by too many features.

When you're comfortable with what you've learned, then you may want to buy JJ OS1 for even more features listed at the following link...
