Not sure what's going on here.. I bought my MPC second hand the other day from a guy on ebay.
Since then I've put in a 60gb HDD and upgraded the ram with a Samsung chip.
Basically it's all been working fine until I hooked up my deck to do some sampling.
About 5 seconds after going into record mode my MPC just outputs high levels of white noise. The record meters are still hitting 0..
Then if I go out of record mode and back to the main screen, if I trigger any samples they are just white noise, but I can hear the tail end of the sample drift off (albeit very distorted)...
----
Just paused writing this for a sec and started playing around... Managed to do a bit of sampling from my deck before it shocked me with some more levels of white noise.. Then went back to the main screen, went to program and I've got a crash screen 'Illegal general instruction exception'.. and what looks like a memory dump report.
Any ideas guys?
This happened to anyone else before?
Happenin on both OS 2.10 and 2.11
