recorded sequence coming out MONO???

hello....yet once again, I have a question....haha. Ok, so where do I start? Well, I am running my mpc from its stereo outs on the back into the rca input jacks on my Audiophile external usb soundbox. I am using a nice quality rca cable and using converters to mono 1/4 on the end to be plugged into the MPc.......ok so then, if tyhat made sense at all, how comes when I open up ACID PRO $>), or soundforege 6.0 and hit record, just like I do my vocals or keyboards, it only recorde the in-coming sequence in mono?? I have checked all my settings within acid and also the audiophile optons...but no luck. Thank you very very much, for al of the help. Do know that it is appreciated. J.Glance

by mono do you mean it is only one channel, or it is 2 channels with the same information?

if it is the latter, try panning some stuff around in the mpc mixer, just to see if it's doing what it is supposed to.

its only picking up the left chanel.......doesnt even show a response fromt he right, but when heard thru my monitors i clearly get both channels....??

I have Acid Pro. I stopped using it because it does a lot of stupid S*&^ that doesn't make sense. There is a lot of good things about AP, but there are way too many bugs. That program just doesn't work the way it should. It's a real pain in the @$$. If you want to record your sequence try Cool Edit Pro 2. It works really well. You won't have any of these problems. Actually Cool Edit and Acid Pro complement each other really well I find!

I use Acid Pro and its fine. First, did you record samples onto your MPC im Mono Left channel, if so then the sounds will only come out the left side and you need to equalize it out on the MPC.
