triger Battery 3 with mpc 1k

Hey fellas,

I want to triger battery 3 (under cubase 3) with my mpc 1000. I have conected my MPC midi out to midi in on my PC.

Thing is nothing changes.... I have tried several things but without succes.

Could somebody out here guide me step by step what actions to take on my MPC and iside the PC to get things up and running.

Your help is highly appreciated.

1 st you need to set ur DAW to master in the midi sync menu i dont know what DAW you are using but the on you mpc hit mode > (i think pad midi/sync and set you in to slave with midi time code. this should make ur pc master and mpc slave
