pad feelings

Ive had my 1000 for a month and a half now. When i first got it, the pads were tight but now, after workin with them for a while, they feel real good. I went from hittin my 2000's pads to hittin the 1000's and in my opinion, i think the 1000's pads feel better. Anybody else feel the same way??

i tried the mpc1000 and have a 2kxl and didn't see any difference in the pads. i think ur just feelin ur 1k more

my pads are breaking in and they are great.
i love my mpc.

the pads are fine on mine. i do feel like i have hit them harder than id like to, but i dont mind hitting them harder.

the buttons, on the other hand, are totally wrecking my finger. they take a bit too much force to push em down and there's this "CLICK!" when they do go down. im getting this big callous on my middle finger haha. the one button that is usually the softkey for "ok!" is starting to soften up. but the others, like the arrow down button is still so stiff.

at least i know they'll last a long time because of it

I am feelin the 1000 more but i still do think the pads kinda broke in a little so they werent so tight.

I am probably alone but I am whishing they had remained firm. I liked them more when they were new.

i played a 2000xl and a 4000 today in a shop. i like the pads better on my 1000, maybe im just used to them tho. to me the 1000's pads feel more like drum heads than buttons. it's the other way IMO on the xl and 4k.

they are made wtih the same rubber pads.

so does that mean eventually the 1000's pads will break in and feel like the 4k's?
