I came across this video of Snareface.. He comes on at around 5:10.. And looks like he's using an MPC1000.

I was wondering.. would i be able to create my glitchy samples on the MPC? Or am I better off editing sounds on my computer, then bringing them to the MPC. For example, in the video, he has quick 32nd notes all over the place.. If I had a closed hi hat sample (just hitting once), and wanted to make it so that it when I hit a pad, it would do a roll as long as I hold it, would I need to edit it that way on the computer? Or would I be able to do this on the MPC 1000? If not, what do you recommend for this?
Basically, I want to create my drum tracks without using my computer. My drum tracks usully consist of 2 tracks. One basic beat with older drum machine sounds such as 909's and 808's. And another track of high pitched glich bleepy noises. (like in the video above) Would you recommend the MPC1000 for this?
If it helps the only drum machine I have experiance with is Reasons Redrum. I'm a drummer as well.
Thanks
