mpc1000 decay

hey, i have just taken the plunge into the world of the mpc1000 after 8 years on the mpc2000. im liking the new machine alot, but the only thing that bugs me is the decay. it has different characteristics to the 2000 and i cant get my drums sounding exactly the same. anyone have any thoughts on this at all? thanks...

ok, im running one of the later jj os's and have had a long look, and i have googled stuff to do with jj and adsr but im still not too sure what adsr is or what im actually looking for. can anyone lend a hand?
