Hi yall,
my first post and I wanted to know how the "sounddesign" on the mpc-1000 works.
Or isn't it ment for stuff like "sample-shaping".
I'm really into getting the a mpc-1000 as an addition to my motif sequencer/sampler.
But on every article about the mpc-1000 I always read about the ability to layer 4 samples on one pad, but you have "only" attack and decay to work with.
How do you guys work around that? Or is this something that is an "uncommon" thing for using on the mpc?
And also I didn't quite understand the meaning of this "16 levels" feature on the pads.
Maybe someone could explain in short and plain words what's it good for and how to use it.
I mean, i've tried to understand it, but since I'm a german native I somehow got a problem to fully get the "meaning" of this feature.
thanx in advance,
j.m
