chops/tempo?

aight, here's the deal--ive layed down my drum track and now im ready to play my sample chops over it..the only problem is my slices are a bit long to work with the drum pattern i chose, so needless to say it dont play out how i had imagined it..im wondering as to how i go about adjusting the tempo of the entire sample (if possible) to match that of my drums..any help would be very appreciated...love && respect...

go into the program that has your sample... hit the pad that has your sample... look to the right of the sample name and you should see parameters for adjusting the Level, Pitch, etc... raise or lower the pitch as needed and experiment... if it's already chopped up, you'll have to do the same thing to each pad... you'll figure out what sounds good.
