not playing back what i recorded

theres a number of problems im having with my mpc (in case you havent noticed this is my third post in two days)but im not sure if its me or the mpc. but anyhow, sometimes in REC mode it will play something back that i didnt play and generally it sounds **** up. so........ im kinda lost on this one i think it might have something to do with the swing mode but im not sure how to fix it.

you obviously have time correction (T.C.) turned on... either adjust it to a higher setting, or turn it off if you don't want any correction at all... sounds like you might want it turned off.
