NEW PADS UPGRADE versus OLD CONTINENT RESIDENTS

Hi,

Any news from UK/Germany/France, others
I wanted to them before NY2008, but both US companies told me to pay and wait, which I didn't like too much....
Any news regarding that ??

samehere - cant find anywhere thats even heard of em outside the us...

i was having the same problem...

what i did was email akai - they gave me the contact for the licensed dealer
for akai parts and equipment. there should be at least one licensed dealer
for the uk - there is only one for all of aus.

when they let you know that you'll know where to start.

a licensed akai service partner in berlin told me in nov, the pads will arrive mid of dec. they did not. so i asked again and he told me, they will be now available in jan. i did not ask yet because i am afraid of the answer.

talked to mpcstuff and vst. there is the posibility to send the pads via ups 4 or 2 day delivery which costs around 85/100 bucks. so if you cant wait get them from the us when available and pay more. or wait.. and wait..

maybe there is the possibility to share the ups fee for europeans.
with two people ordering from germany its 42 bucks each, which is acceptable for waiting 4 days instead of pobably 3 weeks. esp when you think of the weak $.
