PAD IS PLAING A DIFERENT SOUND...

I recorded my samples on track 1 first seq. then switched to track 2 in the same sequence and tried to lay my durm, snares, and hi hats on it but when i hit record and play a pad (hi hats) it records the kick drums, does any one possibley know whats wrong???

P.S. when i am recording live i hear the hi hats but when i try to play back the seq. it plays the kick drums.

do a reset on the midi channel thing. i got some pgms a while back and had the same prob. dude had the midi channels set to what ever he was doing and when i play the pads before recording it was fine but when i went to lay it down and play them back stuff was all screwed up.
