I use a akai mpc1000bk.every once and awhile when I copy paste and move note in step edit mode the notes after the part I edit won't play on any track .they still show up the mute in not on this does not happen very often.I was thinking that the JJos might fix this glitch.when it happens i turn of my mpc and start over.but it is just with the step edit.weird.If anyone knows about this glitch and how to fix it.any info would be greatly helpful
thanks

Yeah I think I remember that problem coming up on here before.. check the archive.

I would just install JJ and see what happens. Questions regarding use of the Akai OS are pretty redundant on here at this point. Most people who really use the MPC got tired of corrupting their saved files and moved on.

yo it doesn't happen when you copy and paste, only when you use the MOVE function

it "Breaks" the sequence data. it's really strange. once it happens it's very hard to fix, you just have to delete the individual track and start over.

it's a definite bug in MOVE of the akai os.

at first, all we had was step edit, and there was no move. we had to copy, paste, and then delete the original. it was hell. that's how i did all of edge city.

but yes, jj os fixes this bug and it also gives you 3 other sequencing modes.

And do not worry about the learning curve, the diff between the OS is minute... *This is as far as the Akai 2.11 os vs, JJOS 3.08 (Free)..... I am learning the JJOS as well as the Akai at the same time and it is pretty much the same with a few screen diffrences.
