chopping and assigning samples to pads

Is there a major difference between how its done on the 2000xl and the 1000.

If so then could someone please explain? in vague detail not manual style

1000 doesn't do it automatically. check page 54 of the manual(EXTRACT).

If you have a PC try using Recycle to chop them up for you and then export them to your MPC.

I have done this an it works great, all info is under the tutorials section on this site.
