I wouldnt ask this if I could easily find the answer in the manual or in a past post in this forum...

How can I delete everything from the ram? I wanna delete all songs/sequences/sounds

I know how to purge and delete songs/sequences, but is there some way to delete everything at once? How can I delete whole kits/banks? I thought I deleted everything and purged but there were still sounds left on various pads. Also, after turning the mp on and off, everything (including deleted sequences, etc was back!

Any help would be appreciated

Although its in the manual. Go to the load menu, highlight where it says memory card, press window and turn the autoload off. Then restart the MPC. There will be nothing loaded into memory

You got it wrong, dude. First, you can only turn off the autoload for the internal memory. If you want to disable the autoload from the memory card as well, you have to delete or rename the "AUTOLOAD" directory that is on the CF card.

Delete all the Programs and then "Purge". That way, none of the samples is assigned to a pad, so they will all be deleted.
