Load from disc program data mising

Program set up to loop a sample with note on. Sample loops ok. Saved the program to disc.


When program is loaded from the disc the loop on data is not present. so the sample plays to the end only


Pad is assigned note on and mono play


Disc was re-formatted but still has the same problem

Any ideas what i'm doing wrong?

So, are you talking about the "Loop: On or Off" preference setting on the main screen?

The loop is set to on in the trim page and the sample loops when the pad is held down in the main page.

It just seems that sample loop preference set to on is either not saved or not loaded

I might be because the looping parameter is saved with the sample and not the program. Try re-saving the looped sample, or use SAVE ENTIRE MEMORY.

Thank you elektrik_muz and all others that have taken the trouble to help.

May I add that programs that have been saved before that did re-load with sample preferences correctly have stopped loading correctly.

Re-loading a Project clears the memory of other all other programnmes resident in memory, which is not always convienient.

I've re-installed the 2.11 OS ut this has not solved the issue.

No, but that's just one option because it saves all the samples automatically - you can still save them one by one. Like I said, it's the saving of the samples that (is supposed to) preserve the loop on/off parameter, not the program.

When you experience one of these "faulty" reloads, check the samples in trim mode to see if the looping is still enabled. If it isn't enabled after you saved the sample that way and retrieved it, then for some reason the sample isn't being saved properly. If it IS enabled and the loop just isn't working with the same program before the save, then you've definitely got a problem and that shouldn't be happening. The first thing I would do if I noticed something that weird is a factory default reset (POWER ON + ERASE).

In the Trim page just noticed the little padlock symbol !

Padlock symbol locked= loop data IS NOT saved,

Padlock symbol unlocked = loop data IS saved.


I feel such a plonker

Y'know what? You are not a plonker.

Know why? Because in all the time I've had this machine and answered questions on this forum, I have to admit that while I knew the padlocky icon position meant something (and usually just left it locked), I'd never quite figured it out until now!

i thought that padlock meant that SAMPLE START is linked to LOOP START...

that's exactly what it means... has nothing to do with loop data being saved.
