pitch shifting on mpc1000

can i take single bass hits off loaded sample from the mpc

and change the pitch of the note ....


like say i have 1 single hit .... 1 note ....

can i create different notes on the mpc off this single hit ..... to create a melody

i'm still learning the mpc but i think you are looking for the 16 levels functionality. that changes the note into a scale of 16 so you can do your melodys etc.

its the button next to the full level up in the top right corner.
