MPC & Fusion

Is anyone using the MPC 1k w/ an alesis fusion? I'm trying 2 sequence the sounds I play w/ the fusion into the MPC... I got my midi ins & outs right but all I can seem to get is the start/stop (clock) going. any ideas? I know I'm supposed 2 have the midi channels in order... what else?

Thanks but Igot it already! Now - how do I save sequences & get the samples back in the right place? the manual kinda sux!

You should get the e-book Beat Making On The MPC 1000 it will teach you how to do pretty much everything on the mpc.. Easier than the manual!! . To have your samples load up onto the right pads you have to scroll over to save a program with all samples then save it on you cf card. thats not including the seq itself you have to save a seq seperate. then when you load up a whole song you can just load your program file first. then load you seq file second.Easy!!
