sample problem

ok so i chopped a piece of a song i was going to sample from pc. i then converted the mp3 to wav and then sent it to the mpc. i then loaded the sample to a pad. for some reason i can not trim or slice the file at all on mpc. i cant even change the poly or mono thing in PROGRAM? can somebody help me. my bad if this is a dumb question.

you tried going to the trim mode and program paramater window???

yea i did.. for some reason tho it wont let me do anything. there is no slice feature or nothing

it sounds like the os is not working

i tried updating the os but it wuld not allow me to. i did wat the instructions said by loading the file onto the cf card via usb and then pressing the rec button. any ideas on how to change it? i wanna put a new version of os or jjos

alrite so i finally figured it out... i was on the original os so i update to jj os 3.08 and i can slice and shit thanks for the help unknown_o8
