Is there a way to extract MIDI files from a sequence ?

I'd like to extract MIDI files from sequences that I played on an MPC 1000 to import them later in a DAW.
How can I do that ?

(I know it is a newbie question, I just borrowed an MPC 1000 from a friend and I am not familiar with it.)

Transfer them with your CF card or just record (replay from mpc) through midi cable into DAW.

If you don't use the record in realtime method, you need to save the sequence as a standard midi file first before you transfer it. The MPC gives you the option when saving sequences.

make sure you're using CHROMATICALLY assigned midi programs
NOT the default key assignments, which is that retarded general midi assignment
i wish i could shake the bastard that though that was a good idea
