Mpc1K Midi Implemention help

Ok, this has been bugging me for a few weeks now, i recently bought an MPD24 because it was cheaper than the pad upgrade and i was wondering what kind of parameters can be controlled by CC's (control changes) on the MPC1K? i have Akai Os 2.1 installed, the chart at the back of the official manual makes no sense to me and i cant find any other info. any help would be greatly appreciated.

With Akai software? None. If there were any, you would see them listed as a "O" in the Control Change Transmitted/Recognized colums of the Midi Implementation chart for the Sampler section.

This was a popular request for JJ OS1 but they ran out of code space just before they were able to implement the feature. It will be implemented in JJ OS2 but that's still in beta -- there's a thread in the JJ forum right now concerning exactly how the function is going to be implemented.

That is unbelievably shocking, Akai has become like Atlantis, not only has it sunk but it's status has become that of myths and legends. Freaking part timers!!!! thanks for the reply though

That's why I've found learning to read midi implementation charts to be a very useful skill in choosing midi gear. I've weeded out a lot of stuff that way.
