Samples on my computer

Hey fellas i asked a question yesterday and this is still in connection to it... I got a harddrive in mpc 1000 and i downloaded about 2 gigs of sound into my mpc and its showing up when i plug in my mpc to the computer but when i scroll in my mpc all the sounds aren't there can somebody tell me what im doing wrong

is the samples in WAV format?....

yeah every one of them says wave sound beside them

Check your manual to see what bit rate and sample rates the MPC supports and then check to make sure you wavs match that. I can't remember what it has to be, as I don't load samples that way, I always sample through the inputs.

That would be something to try. Sample into your MPC via the inputs on the back, and if that sample shows up and you can play it, it's probably an issue with the file types or the files themselves. Read that manual, homie, then read it again.

sometimes when i laod soudns on the computer, it later wont work because errors like that, im never sure why but they jstu wont work when ill hit play, so im sure its jsut one of those things, hopefully youre not missing alot of files
