I've been reading the post about CF cards. But some of them was closed in december etc, so I bether put this on a new topic.

I'm planing to buy CF card, but I got the feeling that cards over 128mb did'nt work on your MPC's?? I would be reason to buy a 512 card then, If it just brings problems?

I know people who are using 512MB, and they work fine. I have 6 different cards, 2 of them are 256MB, one is Sandisk, other is Crucial. I never had any major problems with them. Except the small bugs that everyone else is having, like the "end of file" error , etc. But I consider it as normal,... for now.

This subject has been discused over and over. Don't be affraid to go into a store and buy whichever CF card you like. In the worst case, if it doesn't work, you'll just return it back. What's the big deal.

But, how do you save files? Seq WITH samples, or separate? I haveing problems loading my tracks WITH the samples placed in the sample banks they where before I save!

I tried to understand it from the user guide/manual, BUT! hmm..

I just SAVE THE ENTIRE MEMORY. That way, everything is saved: sequences, programs, samples, songs.
