The important stuff is in the second paragraph

I use the MPC4000 but am considering adding the MPC1000 for on the road,... and on the couch :-) Although I have a question. Lets start by telling you want I want to achieve. I want to program drum grooves on the MPC4000 and transfer them to the MPC1000 to add further sounds. Its the idea to transfer 4 variations of the same drum to the mpc1k. So Ill end up with 4 programs and 4 MIDI files. I see I can transfer my drum programs and MIDI files which is nice BUT.....
Is it possible to playback different programs at th same time on the MPC1000? If not, can you copy parameters from pad 44 of program x to pad 44 of program y (for example)? If not..... is there any other portable sampler which is capable in playing back more than 1 lousy program? It also has to play back and record standard MIDI files.
Or if youve got any possible workarounds for the MPC1000, I will be all ears because I really really want it. Will JJ man give me any of those two options? Hmm.. maybe "Chop Shop" can help me? I just read JJ added an autochop. Thats nice. How is it implemented? Can I choose where the chops go after the drum got chopped? I mean on which pad in which program..? And what is Program for Musical Instruments, btw? Do I need this? Help!!?! lol

EDIT: It doesnt really matter as JJ added audio sequencing tracks.. http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/os2/grid_ae.htm
Ill just load ma drums as an audio file and start banging!! AND SCRATCHING TOO, RIGHT?? Can I import a stereo audio drumloop, add it to the audio track. then add midi bass and sounds with 16 tuning and then scratch on another audio track?? IS THAT REALLY POSSIBLE??? all inside the box?? :D TELL ME YES

Yes! This tiny machine kicks so much ass it's unbelievable. With the JJ brains, it's unstoppable.

Is it possible to use a footcontroller (connected to the front of the mpc) to punch in/out stereo audio recordings? This would be amazing for scratching audio on top of beats

yea i use to record my samples in or when i play the keys and record myself to the mpc, but what sucks it that if you press it again it dont stop, for some weird reason you gotta do it manually.
