new motifes&mpc1k issues with midi

okay okay ..... i finally have had time to sit down and mess with my mpc1k ........

here the new problem


when i go to add a 2nd track ..... lets say on the mpc1k track 1 is drums

i set track 2 up to midi 1a

motifes i set track 1 up to piano


EVERYTHING WORKS FINE .... play on the motif or mpc will play the loop same with stop ....



so i go to track 3 set to midi 2a

go to motif es set up track 2 for bass


i go to record loop .... and wtf it play the piano melody for the bass and i didnt even record nuthing on track 2 yet


its like its not regestering the channel change maybe ?



any takers ?

Is the motif set to "omni" mode? that means it'll accept ANY channel info and play the select program (bass in your case.)

i got it fixed from help from my homie
