How much Midi Control?

I was wondering if someone could tell me how much midi control can you have with an MPC1000 in a software application? Is it typically how much control the software will allow the MPC1000 is the limitation or is it the other way around?

Like will the sliders send midi information to Reason, Ableton or Logic 8?

If you've got JJ you've got notes with velocity from the pads and any of the 127 midi controllers from the sliders that you can setup in slider mode. As far as what you can use them for in a computer app, that depends on the software but most modern DAW type things let you route midi to any parameter you like and even multiple parameters at once.
