Reset Button?

Alright, I would love to get a 'reset button' feature on the MPC1000. Just some sort of button or keystrokes that would let me 'wipe-out' or erase everything in memory to the Autoload state (what you get when you turn the MPC on). I know you can go throughout the various menus and delete all samples, then programs, then songs, then whatever... but c'mon, you know? Is there any other way besides turning it off, and then back on??

im usin the 2000 i really dont kno about the 1000 but i think u go to trim highlight the name of the sample press open window then pres delte sounds or you can go to programs and purge sounds u dont need

yeah but does it delete everything? songs, sequences, and starts with a blank slate? thanks for the reply tho peace

there's a way to turn autoload off, search the forum cause I can't remember it and I don't have a 1000...

does anyone read the manual anymore? i've had my 1000 for...oh...about 28 hours and some of the questions in here are almost damn near Lazy!

It's in the large manual and quick start guide:

press Mode and then Load
in Load field press Window (button)
select off in the Autoload field and that's it.

Does anybody read questions anymore? Jesus christ. I turned autoload off a long time ago punkasses and all I want to know is there a way to clear the freaking memory!! Like if you're working on a beat... save it, hey, let's start a new one!! without turning it off to WIPE the memory clean, can I just RESET it, and start with a blank slate or with my custom autoload settings????

Now, getting back to your reset problem, the way I do it is: I save an empty project, and then when I want to erase everyting, I just go and load that empty project. That is the my way of simulating the reset button

Go to load screen.
Select load from internal memory.
Press window key while standing on internal memory.
There you can set it to off.

IMO, I read it as inferring it on the topic poster. Are you still guilty of going off-topic, which may be as bad as misreading the question?
