Hello pepz
Just about 48hrs into being a new mpc1000 owner.
LOve it!

Just starting to get a hand on the basics and did build and save my first beat/Sq. Its 2 bars and its just dawn on me....how can I build on it, add more bars ect. Can I change it to lets say 6 bars and copy and paste the beat across this and add some new sounds etc?

Any brief idea would help I can take it from there... I hope.

Thanks.

Go to song mode. Here you can copy a sequence. For example if you select sequence 1, you can then convert this so that sequence 1 and sequnce 2 are exactly the same. It will copy the data from seq. 1 to seq. 2. Then you can make changes to sequence 2. You then arrange the sequences how you want to form a song. So for example, sequence 1 could be an intro, sequence 2 could then be a verse, and then seqeunce 3 could be a chorus etc.

Read that manual man, all this shit is right in there for you to learn.

is that avi a pic of you? jk

just copy paste ur sequence a few times
and add some random rests here and there...
add another instrument somewhere in there real quick...
get some vocal garble in there...
add some sugar and stir it up real good..
and there's one mighty fine song.
