sup people. this is my first mpc and i like it so far. only had it for 2 days and i havent had much time to play with it. but anyways my question is, how would i get the sequences from the MPC to play on my PC for editing purposes? Ive seen people say they used Cool Edit or Reason and what not. So i was wondering how would i go about doing that? I tried the SEARCH function on this site but got no luck on this. Thanx in advance for the help.

YOu press play on the mpc and record the AUDIO into CEP thru your outputs on the mp and thru your soundcard into CEP.

The way it's supposed to work is: save the Sequence to the card as a MID file. You should then be able to open that in any MIDI sequencer, PC or otherwise, make changes, save and reload in the MPC.
(I've only tried this once, and I couldn't get the MIDI file to load in Cakewalk, but that could be just me.)
