MPC1000 vs. Controller

Triggering the MPC from the controller (MIDI) causes program/sequence change and triggers the MPC to "EXT". Thing is it's not even hooked up to a DAW.

I am currently working without the JJ OS. Could this be a bug? It's been happening for about a month now and i had the equipment about a year now!

If there's a greater knowledge out there, help me figure out which one i should replace!

I have the midi controller (M-Audio Keystation 49) midi to my mpc 1000.

When sequencing to the mpc (triggering the Mpc via the controller)

instead of sequencing occuring, instead the programs changes or the sequence change!

Or

I see "EXT" on the mpc...which shouldn't be, because i dont have the mpc sync to anything.

So I'm trying to figure out why is it changing the programs/sequences and not triggering the samples.

check the settings on the MIDI/SYNC screen.

there is a setting about program changes in there...

check the manual, theres details about it in there too.

Checked those settings...Seems to have really did the trick!
