Stuck On Saving

When I'm Creating a New Folder while saving, My MPC1000 freezes and I Lose all the work I've done!

Is this due to my OS? I have the good old AKAI OS.

Appreciate any tips or tricks!

Man that sucks, feel your pain.
I would think this is the old OS, you can not loss buy upgrading it to the new AKIA one or even the free JJ OS one.

I've read through the forums and it's always mentioned that upgrading is done from the CF.

Can Upgrade from the HD? I have a 80 Gb

Where can I find the free JJ OS?

I've been back and forth between getting a new MPC 1000 or upgrading the OS. I'm also having issues with midi between the mpc and keystation

Get the JJ OS1... Don't know if that'll fix it but it's deff a "Worth It" upgrade! Plus it's worth a try cause you'll only be gaining! Plus the JJ OS2 is right around the corner!!



If you haven't upgraded you Mem Ram it might help!

Download MPC1000 JJ OS! It'll be the (FREE) teal color joint! When you got the cake cop that OS1!

this is a flaw in the older AKAI OS - 2.10

upgrade to the newer AKAI OS, or the most excellent JJOS and be sure
to re-format your hard drive and CF (after backing everything up of course)

and always select SAVE ENTIRE MEMORY after creating a new folder.
