transfering songs to PC

Ok this is one of the most noob questions of all time...and I tried searching for it but I couldnt find any results for some reason even though I know its prolly been asked.

SO far Ive just had all my work on the MP and never got them on the PC. Is there a program you have to use to convert the sequence files to regular music format?

Yep, answered this several times last week, lol.

SEQ is akai only. Nope, no program to convert SEQ. SEQ is data, no actual sound in it.

get an mbox to record into your pc or just go through your soundcard, but with just the reg soundcard it's not gonna sound like it did in your akai

set up your SEQ's in Mode+pad16

F4, convert to song,

Main

data wheel, select song

Mode, pad5

Data wheel, change input to "main out"

Hit Rec F6

Hit play

wait for song to stop

Hit stop

mode +pad3, Save sample

1 Wav file of your track.
hook the usb up n copy it off.

its limited but till you get a interface its proberly tour best option :)
