If I were to create a drum loop and tweeked everything in the mpc 1000. Could I then save it in my comp as a wave file and use it in Cubase SX. Also, how do I sync my MPC to cubase sx? For example. I would create a drumloop, tweek everything in the mpc. Then, if I were to press record on Cubase Sx as an audio file, would it sync with the mpc to play the drum loop I just created. So once I press record it would time the loop in the MPC to play exactly with the recording in Cubase.
I guess I'll reply -
sure can - select an input on a audio track in Cubase, hit record then hit play on your MPC
You can also (on the MPC) hit [mode] then the record pad - select mixer - set your record time to about the length of your loop hit record, then press play.
You can sync using Midi Clock and time code(I think) - I don't really use this to sync my recordings - usually I just select an audio track and hit record -
