I still don't see how people CHOP samples!! help!!

The MPC doesn't chop base on the notes of a sample, just haphazardly. So, how can you sample (let's say..) an entire 4 bar loop and slice it across the pads evenly?

which os are you using?

if it's the akai one --- up grade to JJ, the chop functions are waaay superior.

but if you want to chop in akai, the way boon doc does it first you
need to make sure your sample loops perfectly.

get the tempo right, then chop.
