I've had my MPC 1000 since May 2006, i dont beat the crap out of it...i respect it. But a year after i got my MPC, the Right Cursor started to act funny , only working 1 time for every 10 times i pushed the button... So I ordered two replacements from VST (the actual piece that solders to the circuit board), once i replaced it it worked fine for like 6 mos, then it started actin up, so i replaced that with the other replacement from VST,. Well that one was acting funny 2 days later, now i have to push the button a certain way to make it work. I noticed that the original buttons from the factory(the ones on the circ. brd.) the posts that the button you push outside pushes on are more rigid and have no play n them(i checked all the other buttons just 2 b sure), and the aftermarket joints from VST, the posts on them are loose and have play in them... Anyone know anything about this? If i order two more replacements and the first time i replace it again, and it starts actin up, im going to swap the replacement with one of the BAR(Locate) buttons, cuz i hardly ever use them anyway... Thanx in advance....
