Mpc 1k, external output changes?

Hello Im using the mpc 1k for makin´ beats, my setup is that i use the 2 main outputs for monitoring (They are going straight to my speakers). And then i use 1 of my external outputs to track to cubase sx3. It works fine excecpt that if i use any of the effects at the mpc or even touches the internal mixer the changes doesnt effect the output on the external outputs, but only on the main outs. Also, i feel that the sound quality on the external output doesnt sound as good as on the main outputs.

Is it just a bad setup or is there anything i just missed since my changes wont affect the external outputs? And is it right that the external outs is not as good quality as the main or is it just my ears kiddin´me? and if my setup is just a bad solution, what are the purpose of the external outs?

You need to send the effects to the track you are tracking out. Also you need to assign the mix out of your track in mono via 1, 2, 3, or 4 mix out and not stereo.

Note that you can only assign effect to your main out. Check the signal flow page in the manual.
