Hey, im sorry for all my questions (im a total noob) but i downloaded some drumkit that are in WAV, they work fine in Battery or other samplers, but when i export them into my MPC1k thru USB (the same way i use to load other samples in) i dont hear anything.

is it a fault in the samples, or in my MPC

thanks in advance!

If you have a wave editor program, ie sound forge or adobe audition (formerly cool edit pro), just open the wave file in that program an save as microsoft adpcm.wav.

Hard to say, are your samples 16 bit, 44.1 Mhz? The Akai MPC1000 doesn't accept 24 or 36 bit samples. Try to convert to 16 bit in Soundforge.
