People tend to think that I ONLY chop in one form/technique (1/16 slicing) just because that's what I primarily do in my vidoes. Well, what you see in the videos is only a small percentage of the things I do without a camera on lol. I think I speak for everyone when I say, "it's not good to give people EVERY SINGLE piece of you" (that's why I hate Reality Shows lol). But anyways, I'm sure there will always be something that I'll get criticized about regardless of anything... because WE as producers fail to just enjoy music nowadays. We all tend to analyze every single little thing musically once we become producers.... I sure the hell have that same problem lol. But anyways.... just thought I'd share my new video I just posted. Hope ya'll like. Peace & God bless!!!!

i don't really pay attention to what you do so i wouldn't know about your recent ""critics"". and i actually don't fail to appreciate music now that i'm a producer. so please don't speak on producers just cause you're experiencing hater-"producers". if people "producing" hate then they aren't a producer in the first place. you should know not to pay them any mind. i could actually give a fck less if you chop everything 1/16 looped. why would you care if i care or not? who you makin music for? you or youtube, if you know what i mean? hahah i'm sorry to sound like a complete jerk. just rattling your chain. for real, i have respect for you doing your thing. but your post and video, my first reaction was ???

No doubt. I once e-mailed BoonDoc on some haterific sh*t until I realized I was sippin'. Only til I got the same back from other people did I understand the hate-tastic nature of how putting videos up works.

Yo, Boon, You aint' got shit to prove. The material speaks for itself. I don't think I have seen you do a beat that didn't get the freestyle bubbling in my mind, and that, IMHO is what determines a good beat...

Yeah, I am about to watch it.
I wish you would make a video showing the more boring parts for this site.
The beat with the FatTrack was good & the "oh baby, woowoowoowoo" was an instant classic.
I use that drum teq. you did in that video to get that tiny stutter sometimes.
I have produced & writtten 2 succesfull albums, but I still learn from others no matter what.
I personally just like your videos & think you're good at chopping.
Never thought you only did 16 pads.
If a beat is ill it doesn't matter how it was made really.
But I watch very few youtubes & when I do it is usally for knowledge, not entertainment value.
Your ill w/ the MPC, 1.

Nice vid, you're always enthusiastic and cheerful in you vids, which is nice to see! I can see why these 'haters' say you only chop in 1/16ths, though they got it wrong by saying 'chop'. It's more that when you play back the slices, you're consistently on the beat, in time etc etc: it just sounds a little rigid. Nothing wrong with that at all, i'm just saying what I think these people mean, and that i can see why they're saying it too. peace and keep the videos coming.
