THIS.MPC1000...Has no SLICE (F5)...HUH???

My mPC1000 ...welll When I want to edit a SampleSO i .press MODE"TRiM want to slice regions from a sample...but theres no SLice next to the edit. whats wrong... one thing else. when i press the edit button...shouldn't there be More edit functions... I only have three when i spin the DATa wheel...like Discard,Extract,Noralize.,wheresPatch phrase, pitch shiftt,reverse, time stretch,Silence,DELEte... SOme one what up..Is it my MPC???

From Akai OS 2 chopping/slicing on the MPC1000 has been made possible. Looks like you've got an Akai OS1 version.

Go to http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/ and download the free JJ OS 3.08 version. Read how to install it. JJOS 3.08 is nearly the same as the later Akai OS 2, but without the bugs.


If you want more, buy the commercial JJOS.
