dispaly problem

today is arrived my mpc, i worked with it for 5 hours .
and later the display growing blank!!!
i turn off and on my mpc , it work for 30 seconds and another time blank!!!
why someone can help me??

check your contrast. ive read a few of these where peoples screens have died on the new builds very quickly.

is not the contrast!!!
i turn on the mpc , and in the beginning work good, after few seconds the display get blank.
and is the same if a i turn off and on.

If you bought your MPC1000 new, return it and get an exchange for one that is not defective.

I hope you bought it locally, so you can exchange it quicker.

If you bought it online (new), contact the online retailer and let them know that you need an exchange.

If you bought it used (e-bay), contact the seller (if they have a return policy).

If you can't do any of the above, try to find an authorized Akai repair center and ship it there after making arrangements with them.

You can always buy a new display and replace it yourself if you want to save money.... as long as you're comfortable with repairing it yourself.
