MPC1000 hidden feature: set startup message / owner name.

Apologies to anyone who's posted this before, but I couldn't find anything similar in a forum search. I stumbled across this while playing with footswitch settings:

- in Mode: Other, press F3 to select "FOOTSW". This is where you normally set up your footswitches;
- hit F6*. This brings up a window where you can enter up to 16 characters of custom text that gets displayed as the "owner" name when you power on the MPC1000.

edit: I could be slightly wrong about the key, it's F4-F6 for sure. Hitting F3 first may not be needed. Can't confirm this right now - sorry!

Any more "easter eggs" anyone knows of?

ya know, i did this once so that on startup it said "TIGER VOMITT" and after about a week it went back to saying "MPC 1000..." on startup.
