Dear Reader,

I like to watch how Boon Doc/Fat Trak and them making them beats. Really inspiring. But when they start making a beat...they have al kinds of drums/sounds layed out on the pads....

I got like 20GB of sounds on my PC...i know how to transfer them to my MPC Harddisk...but how can i automaticly spread them over the pads...??? Without going to the Program Function and assign them 1 by 1....

Hope ya'll can help me out!

Thanks

Mitch

Not trying to be funny (maybe I am), but your biggest problem seems to be laziness. The videos from Boon Doc and Fat Trak don't show all the time and effort they put in before the tape starts rolling that makes it look so easy. Don't look for the shortcut all the time.

If you have a Mac computer you can use PAD187 and for a PC I'm not sure. The best part is to pick out your whole set and create a new program (kick, snare, hat, sample, ect...) but you can use software to place it in but that too is time consuming when you can save space and time and create the new program its the more logical way to go. When you create the new program you only put in what you want and no over head in the folder when loading.

Good luck,

i have a program called blue box and it lets you do a bulk load of samples and it automatically assigns it to the pads. if your lookin to just put like a whole mess of sample on various programs then this would be good for you. its free to download. i would recommend just making a kit that you need for the beat and do that but whatevs. peace hope this helped.
