Q link faders do they transmit midi ?

How do you assign the q link faders to transmit midi I use in conjucton with Live 7 and want to use them to control tempo adjustments in live 7 ( like a pitch control on a deck )
My pads work great and can see they transmit midi to L7 (by the little midi light flashing ) but when I use the faders nothing

qlinks don't send midi ccs unless you use

Thanks for the reply only just got my new shiny mpc 1000 is it worth upgrading to the other os as i have stil really haven`t got to grips with my mpc yet ?
