Bass program question

Hey all,

I have been slowly getting my head around the basics of the MPC 1000 and have laid some nice drum patterns down and also created some nice synth patterns ontop but i'm sufferign on bass programs and wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of some nice bass prgrams to lay the core element of any good tune the underlying bass roll.

Could you guys and girls advize me further please?Point me in the direction of some Bass programs
