Hey guys. I'm new to sampling and MPC's but i've been really enjoying getting to grips with it. I have a big problem, and I'm worried it's an actual fault with my MPC.

I've chopped up a sample that i've recorded to sequence in four bars. I've then attempted to add the drums to another track but when i hit the the drum samples the original samples cut out. The MPC won't let me play the samples over each other. As you can imagine, i't's very frustrating and stops me from being able to do anything.

Please help, guys.

Thanks!

when you sample, chop and save a new program the os will make the program as "mono", which means that only one sample from that program play at a time.

So what you need to do, is to go the program menu and switch it to "poly".
