Quick help about cf card!!!!

When I transfer files onto my mpc1000 from a sample cd I have, only the first sample in the list of that folder is copied but it is copied in correspondence to the number of wav files im trying to copy in the first place. In other words if I try to copy 10 drum sounds, I get 10 copies but there all of the first drum sound. The sounds on my computer are listed as wav files and on my computer they play off of the cf card drive also but when I try to play each sample off of the mpc they all sound the same. Would I need to reconvert these files again with a wav file converter or due to my mpc for some reason. I have the jj os 3.8 system.

Hey man, check your filename sizes. The MPC supports filenames no larger than 16 characters. Shorten the filenames and it should be sweet!
