MPC 1000 PAD UPGRADE ORDER

Can Someone please let me know when they get their pad upgrades in from mpcstuff.com. i ordered mine and they are saying they get a shipment in july...but i may be just too paranoid but im worried if i send my paypal payment in and never get my pad upgrades.

I ordered (and payed) mine in the middle of april.
They E-mailed me last month and they said to me the same thing.
In JULY...
I have the same paranoid, because (as I said in another similar thread) my
2nd pad is going to leaving me.
I hope to write back in july for talking about the benefit of the new pad upgrade kit of
our dear MP1K.

AKAI needs to get their act together, damnit!

akai def needs to get their act together..my first pad is dying...and my fingertips r getting soar from pounding on thses pads..lol..ill post up a new thread if i get a response on the pads...to keep others updated with the situation who are going thru the same thing...

It's almost July.

The shipment can't come soon enough, hopefully they've got plenty.

In Sweden I bought the pad upgrade at http://www.jamshop.se last week in their store in Stockholm. They had it in stock, but I had to pay 1900:-SEK for them Somebody in the delivery chain, is making a big profit on desperate mpc1k users...
I had youtube with the installation guide online to guide me. the package contained nothing but the parts in a paded envelope.
the result is greatly improved pads, but I had to ajust the velocity settings for each pad.

DAMN RIGHT ITS almost JUly...i hope and pray tat i get my pad upgrade...they gave me an email saying...who is on the waitinglist...akai will send in enuff for their list...i hope its tru...

Nigma I received the same e-mail, hoping its true too mate - my pad 1 is virtually non existent now..

1st week of july has come and gone....

I emailed Mike Minhster From Mpcstuff.com...and i says he still has not heard anything from akai yet...hopefully he will hear sumthing from them very soon..trust me im gonna stay on top of this guy..until these pads come in...and ill keep you guys updated on what i know and hear..peace....Is Hip Hop Dead?..Or does the corporate industry not want to fund it anymore?....

yea i wont send my cash til i no for sure i dont want to go without and stil go without ya dig ive been calling for two months myself.

i ordered my pads from guitar center in may. they had an estimated ship date of 6/16. sadly i am still waiting for these fcuknig things! i had the gc guy call and basically the guy at akai knew what i ordered, but had no info as to what the fcuk was going on. they must have shut down production or some siht. im tired of waiting, i was about 30 seconds from cancelling my order only to find that the online stores are in the same position. wtf akai!! i paid my money, give me my pads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

apparently without your name on a waitlist (ie locking up 2 bills indefinitely) you have a very slim chance of getting them b/c of the small production run. basically what i'm saying is: **** akai.

I have been on the waiting list since Febuary, and I was told they were going to be shipped to mpc-stuff around july 16. Patience is a virtue.

halfway through july... any announcement would be greatly appreciated.
